Artichoke Printmakers

I love my job over at Bullet, somedays I get to meet the most amazing and talented humans. Today was one of those days (and on the spur of the moment as I was running short of time). My friend Sonia put me in the direction of these print makers who use a technique that has not changed for centuries. They use etched metal plates that are coated in a thick gloopy ink, and then with a single sheet of damp paper, they are put through a roller press. Thanks to Megan (who also took some of these photos) and the other folk at the studio I got to learn about a technique that once was ubiquitous but now is rare form of print.
