I love my job over at Bullet, somedays I get to meet the most amazing and talented humans. Today was one of those days (and on the spur of the moment as I was running short of time). My friend Sonia put me in the direction of these print makers who use a technique that has not changed for centuries. They use etched metal plates that are coated in a thick gloopy ink, and then with a single sheet of damp paper, they are put through a roller press. Thanks to Megan (who also took some of these photos) and the other folk at the studio I got to learn about a technique that once was ubiquitous but now is rare form of print. Today, I had to give a Lightroom lecture, for the Still Moving participants. I was able to join their photo shoot prior to me chatting about how important backups are, and how lightroom can be compared to Scientology. Here are some pics from the studio session. Side Effects Of Urethane 2001

The Side Effects Of Urethane was a skateboard and art project at the Jam Factory, Soutwark. Built and Curated in 2001 by Rich Holland, Toby Shawl, Marcus Oakley, Pin and many others, whose names I cant remember. This clip was badly filmed with a cheap video camera and sketchy fish eye, the footage was cobbled together along with some snapshots. Loads of folk in here: Bobby Puelo, Badger, Fos, Jimmy Boyce, Frank Stevens, Matius Nylen, Martin Herrick, amgounst others. I think Fos’s Band was called Doku Dango. Really wish there was someting these days to match the creativity and energy that the TSEOU events created (maybe there is but I am just not clued up about it?). I found this edit which I thought was lost on languishing a DVD i had made, so thought I would share. Filmed and Edited by Gorm for Bullet Creative.

Small Figures

When ever I am in the USA, I try and pic up some of these small figures. They are usually sold in vending machines out side of wallmarts and such like. I think these are called little homies. Shot these to check out the macro capabilities of various bits of glass.
