Westminster – The seat of government here in the UK. Again by the river. I am not overly political, but I sometimes do wonder how accountable the people who make the decisions in there really are to the electorate.

Noticing a theme yet? I cross the thames approx twice a day 5 days aweek – I see this river approx 480 times a year give or take. No wonder I am drawn to it, and the people that cross it.

I hate commuting, I do it every day into London, This shot must have either been late at night or on a week end as the carriage is empty. Usually folk are cheek to cheek on these trains. On these human pressure cookers fireworks can sometimes erupt. (Had to make this post topical somehow)

I find hospitals intriguing, This is St Thomas in the middle of london, I think I took these on the same day as the Houses of Parliament pics that you will get to see later this week.

We have two cats – The one shown here: (Missy Slick) in these two half frames is a nutjob, one moment super happy and loving the next attempting to swipe your eyes out – bit like me then. Oh yeah by the way some times I lose count of how many halfframes I have shot, so some of these are Tri Frames!!

Half Frame Week: Day 1 Sky Boat

So I have this Half Frame camera: Canon Demi C after being inspired by the work of Gonella and Randozzi. With me, the camera can some times sit in my bag for a while with a film in it, only coming out from time to time. When I process the film in my kitchen sink, I never know what is going to be on the film, Which makes for some nice surprises. This week (and 1 bonus day!) I will be posting some images each day at 4pm. Lets start with Sky Boat. I have no idea when I shot this, probably on my commute to and from work as I cross the River Thames at London Bridge.
