September is a beautiful time to be in Oxford. I participated in a Tipping Point conference that focused on Stories Of Change. This is a project that looks at the narratives of change in relation to energy use, climate, and how people, organisations, countries and ultimately this planet have been and will be affected. It was a fascinating time, and met some superb people with great discussion and thinking around the many issues involved. We convened on Sunday in the exquisite Sheldonian Theatre, before breaking out in to discussion groups at Exeter College. Later in the evening there was a thought provoking, yet entertaining cabaret in the chapel. The whole place felt like Hogwarts, which is an obvious thing to say, but make me wonder if Harry Potter is worried about the future of energy use?
